    I usually water my lawn early in the morning. I heard that its better to water in the evening. Is that so?

    You should water the lawn early in the day. Avoid watering during the day – most of the water will get evaporated due to the sun. Watering in the evening may not be a good idea. But if you live in a location where the nights are hot, then your lawn can use some water in the evening.
