I have an old fashioned purple lilac bush. It bloomed nicely this spring. This is now mid Sept. and a few days ago I saw three tiny clumps of white flowers. The bloosoms were so tiny that I thought I was seeing things. By tiny I mean each flower was about 1/24th in size. Is this usual? Neversaw or heardabout this before.

It could possibly be a Prince Charming lilac…
I don’t know if you know what kind it is, but these bloom in the spring and again in the fall.
