Is it ok to put tomato trimmings in it? I am wondering if the acid will hurt the worms. I do put tomatoes in the outside compost pile but there are lots of other things to eat so I know it wont hurt them.

It might not be a good idea to add tomato trimmings. Apart from the acidic part, it is said that tomato cuttings can transmit the diseases to other plants when you add the compost.
