    I got the healthiest & biggest bulbs from: vanengelen.com. You have to buy $50 worth at a time. There’s, also, springhill, brecks, & michigan bulbs.

    Anytime. It’s hard to kill an iris. Best in spring or fall, though.

    Depends on how wealthy you are…lol. I buy a cheaper brand. The only tip I gave give you, is read the ingredeints. If it’s full of red millet…don’t buy it. The birds don’t eat it. White millet is OK.
    With foods, the list starts with what’s the most of in it & goes to the least. I’m not sure if that’s the way seed works, but I would assume so.

    You need to do research of what butterflies are in your area. Find a butterfly book for your area – maybe one in a library. Then find out what plants they like. You can attract butterflies to your garden with good nectar plants and to keep butterflies longer in your garden, then plant caterpillar plants.

    No, they do not need water. They get what they need from the nectar for moisture. You may see them in mud puddles that are very shallow and it is the male butterflies that are gathering salts.
