You can spend as much or as little as a couple bucks a week on bird food. Two things to keep in mind; read the ingrediant. Mullet (I think that is what its called) is a big filler in some feeds but the birds really don’t eat it. I find it best to buy some medium priced seed.

The other thing, once you start, you need to make sure they never run out of food.
