Is raw coffee safe for compost bins? I have this age old coffee which I had totally forgotten about. It is unusable in the kitchen, but how about in the garden?

I don't know what will happen if you add raw coffee. Since you have this coffee why don't you brew it one day and then add it to your compost bin? Better to be safe than sorry.
