How can I catch a butterfly?

The best way to "catch" a butterfly is to raise it from the caterpillar stage. Then when the butterfly hatches out you can observe it and then let it go. You can use a net and you can go into fields or mountains and catch butterflies as long as you are not breaking any law by doing so.
